Architecture was unique and ahead of its time too
To prevent damage including flooding and pest. Floors had a solid base. Using pebbles. Walls were built on the foundation of stone. They had wood and daub; or, mud brick with lime mortared walls. There were kitchens. They were detached from living rooms. To help with heat, pest, weather and an assortment of things. Most buildings had a second level. Made of wood, and using wood posts. Where they could dry, cure and store things. Or, have a workshop for things like tools; and, keeping grain.
It was grouped housing. They were also surrounded by an inner courtyard. Where they could socialize. Buy, sell and trade things. Have functions. Like the markets and religious gatherings we have today.

Like other early neolithic settlements. They entered thru the roof
No doorways are found in dwellings. To help with mice and pest. They entered thru a roof, or high window.

Interiors were plaster but rarely painted
But when they were. Red and creme geometric designs were found. Heaters, grinders cups became a common place, and found on floors. They had cupboards. They were active. Livelihood consisted of building, maintaining; and, of course agriculture. Spelt, wheat, barley, peas and vetch were being cultivated. Villagers engaged in the breeding of animals. Bones of cattle, pigs, sheep, goats were found. Dogs and cats too.

By around 7000 years ago something must have happened though
The city was defended by a fortified wall.
